The Ministry of The Holy Spirit

John 14:12
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

John 16:8
“And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

John 16:9
 of sin, because they do not believe in Me; (convince people of sin)

John 16:10
 of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; (convince people of the finished work of Jesus)

John 16:11
 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.(convince people that the works of the devil have been destroyed)

1 John 3:8
 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

 Mark 3:28,29
“Assuredly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they may utter; 29 but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation”

John 14:25-26
“These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.26″But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

John 15:26
“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

John 16:13
“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Acts 1:8
You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

 Acts 2:1-2
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

Acts 2:3-4
Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

 

The Treasure Inside of You

 Philemon 1:6
 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus

2 Corinthians 4:7
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Can all the Fruits and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit operate in my life?

 1 Corinthians 12:11
But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

If all the Fruits & Gifts of the Spirit can operate in my life, why do some operate more in other people and others operate more in me?

What are you called to Do? It has to do with your calling.

Does the person responsible for delivering a package own the package?

A delivery person has the responsibility to deliver a package to the person to whom it is addressed

1 Peter 4:11
If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

1 Corinthians 2:4
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power

 

The Fire of the Holy Spirit

Matthew 3:11
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire

Luke 3:16
 John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

1 Peter 2:5
you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:9
 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

When offerings were made in the Old Testament many of them were offered with fire. I counted at least 67 times where it said       “an offering made by fire”

 Exodus 29:25
 You shall receive them back from their hands and burn them on the altar as a burnt offering, as a sweet aroma before the Lord. It is an offering made by fire to the Lord.

 Exodus 30:20
 When they go into the tabernacle of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to the Lord, they shall wash with water, lest they die.

Leviticus 21:6
They shall be holy to their God and not profane the name of their God, for they offer the offerings of the Lord made by fire, and the bread of their God; therefore, they shall be holy.

Profane fire – strange fire

Leviticus 10:1-3
Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them. 2 So fire went out from the Lord and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. 3 And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord spoke, saying:‘By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; and before all the people I must be glorified.’”

Remember :1 Peter 2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Fire purifies

In the natural Fire cannot exist without oxygen

In the spiritual – The Holy Spirit is the Fire and the wind

Without the Holy Spirit the fire cannot exist in your life and it cannot spread without the wind of the Holy Spirit blowing upon the embers of your heart

Exodus 24:17
The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

Hebrews 12:29
For our God is a consuming fire.

John 3:8
The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
